ESC Gaming have withdrawn from the Intel Challenge Super Cup 8 as the players will be too busy with upcoming school obligations.
The team were drawn in Group G along with TCM-Gaming, USSR and escalate, and have so far into the tournament not picked up anything but losses.
ICSC 8 officials have now informed HLTV.org that the German-based team will have to withdraw their participation as the players have to focus on their upcoming exams.
As a result of their withdrawal, all previous games played by ESC Gaming will have their scores adjusted to 16-0. Furthermore, the organizers have stated that there will be no replacement.
Prior to joining the Intel Challenge Super Cup 8, the team added former mousesports talent Navid "Kapio" Javadi, who originally retired after the last ESL Pro Series season.
